# Timecode

To enable timecode, go to the **Live FX menu**, and under **Shot Timecode Provider**, turn **ON** and set up your **Source for Video IO**.

You may also need to set up the Timecode on any Capture Nodes you have. To do that

1. Select the Primaries or Layer that has the Video Capture
2. Select the Video Capture Menu on the left.
3. Then select Auto TC Sync
