# Take Recorder

You can have Live FX automatically trigger Take Recorder when you press record in Live FX, you just have to make sure to set up a few things first. 

1. [When setting up your Live Link](https://assimilate.gitbook.io/live-fx-documentation/set-up-unreal-engine-with-live-fx#id-4.-enable-live-link), make sure to check Auto Record.

2. In Unreal Engine, go to Window>Take Recorder\
   Change Countdown from 3.0 Seconds to 0. <br>
