# Video IO Settings

To get to the Video IO tab, go to Settings > Video IO.

<figure><img src="/files/i7tBBXjVbNSPGhRsPCpz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Here you should set your UltraStudio 4k Mini to 1080p24.

\
Format: YUV 10/422

REC2020 Video

Input should be set to Rec709 Full (This is given to you by the brain bar or the camera, normally this is likely Rec709 Video, but in this case, it's Rec709 Full)

For the Output, if set to default it will inherit the settings on the right side of the menu, but you can also override this. It doesn't hurt to also set it to Rec202 Video.

While you are here, you should make sure any Video IO settings that are not used are turned off.&#x20;

Specifically, make sure NDI is turned off unless you are actively using it.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://assimilate.gitbook.io/live-fx-documentation/lighting/rec2020-example-project/video-io-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
